The North American Cartographic Information Society invites submissions for the Atlas of Design, a publication dedicated to honoring beautiful and interesting maps from around the world. All mapmakers are encouraged to offer their work for consideration. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts, and a book featuring the top choices will be published in October 2014.
Our goal is to draw attention to the role of art and beauty in map making, and to produce a book that will inspire future mapmakers. To see the 2012 edition of the Atlas of Design, visit http://atlasofdesign.org/one.
