Survey Tender – Expression of Interest (EOI): Collection of elevation data in A&N Islands – National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM), Tamil Nadu, India
The National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management, Chennai is inviting EOI for carrying out topographical mapping of the Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Islands on 1:4000 scale in connection with preparation of Integrated Island Management Plans (IIMPs). The survey is required to be conducted in fourteen (14) Islands of A&N viz., Strait Island, Aves Island, Curlew Island, Rutland Island, Flat Bay Island, Bampooka Island, Chowra Island, Kamorta Island, Kondul Island, Nancowrie Island, Teressa Island, Katchal Island, Little Nicobar Island and Pilowmillow Island.The objective is to collect ‘X’, ‘Y’ coordinates and ‘Z’ elevation values along the shoreline and up to 20m contour from the High Tide Line (HTL) for the 14 Islands.The deliverables of the project include:
- Island wise Digital Elevation Model (DEM) up to 20 m contour line from HTL.
- Contour maps of 0.5m interval for near shoreline up to 5m elevation above MSL from HTL with digital data.
- Contour maps of 1m interval beyond 5m elevation up to 20m contour line with digital data.
- MSL values and Bench Marks used for each islands.
- Raw data as recorded by the instrument.
Estimated Duration of Work:
The estimated duration of the work is two (02) months from the date of signing of contract.
Tender Due Date:
EOIs with necessary documents must be delivered in five printed copies to the address given below on or before 4th February, 2014. A detailed RFP for the project will be issued to the eligible firms after evaluation of EOIs.
