Madhya Pradesh to Launch GIS Based Services for Identification of Land by Investors
Bhopal, India: Madhya Pradesh Government will launch geographical information system (GIS) for the land earmarked for the industries in the state. This will facilitate online identification of land by investors to set up the industry.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is likely to make an announcement during his address to the investors during the Make in India week in Mumbai. The government will mainly focus on four sectors while showcasing the state to more than 500 investors who have registered for Madhya Pradesh investor seminar on the penultimate day of Make in India week in Mumbai.
Chief secretary Anthony DeSa told TOI, “In view of the interest shown by investors, we will focus on defence production manufacturing, manufacturing of renewable energy hardware, food processing units and Information and technology .” He said that “We will seek investment in all the sectors but will highlight these four sectors. We will tell investors about the possibilities and potential for industries in the state.”
