Postdoctoral Researcher in Antarctic Glaciology/Satellite Remote Sensing

The primary aim of this project is to use data from ESA’s CryoSat II satellite, alongside SAR interferometry, for the detection of grounding lines in Antarctica. The project involves the development of software and the analysis of the CryoSat II time series over Antarctica.
A background in some aspect of environmental sciences would be advantageous but not essential. You should have experience in the analysis, interpretation, and visualisation of remote sensing data from sensors such as altimetry, Synthetic Aperture Radar or similar geophysical data sets, preferably applied to glaciers or ice sheets.
Funding for this post is currently secured for 2.5 years.
