Online portal improves access to geoscience data from Africa
Geosoft recently announced the launch of the Botswana Geoscience Portal, a partnership initiative with the Botswana Geoscience Institute and industry sponsors. Developed and hosted by Geosoft, the portal provides free access to multi-disciplinary datasets from Ngamiland, a district in the country’s northwest. It is available online at: http://geoscienceportal.
The geoscience portal aims to help Botswana attract new investment in resource exploration, improve transparency and stimulate collaboration between government, industry and the public to advance the understanding of the economic and social needs of the North-West district.
